    One of several annual film festivals that take place throughout the year on Martha’s Vineyard. This festival takes place Memorial Day Weekend at the MV Film Center in Vineyard Haven. Always a treat to see which directors or actors may show up.
  2. The Vineyard Artisans’ Spring Festival
    This is the opening show of the season so it gives you the chance to be the first to view new works from the island’s artists and artisans. Takes place indoors and outdoors between 10am and 4pm each day of Memorial Day Weekend.
  3. Martha’s Vineyard Museum
    This stunning building overlooking the harbor in Vineyard Haven is one of the most striking historic buildings on Martha’s Vineyard. Come visit their collection of island artifacts spanning from the early Wampanaog inhabitants, the whaling industry, wooden boat building of Vineyard Haven, musical traditions and present day life.

  4. Cape Poge Lighthouse Tour
    Take a sand safari with the Trustees of The Reservation across the sand dunes of Chappaquiddick to beautiful Cape Poge lighthouse. The views are incredible.
  5. Fun 107 Memorial Day Weekend Rock & Fox Morning Show
    Broadcast live from the Nobnocket Boutique Inn in Vineyard Haven this will be the 5th year the South-East coast’s leading morning radio show takes place on Martha’s Vineyard. Tune in to learn what’s happening across the Vineyard or book a stay at the inn and get to meet Rock and Fox in person.

  6. Oak Bluffs 5K Road Race
    If you’re feeling like getting the old legs moving, you can always sign up for this fun run. Starting at Oak Bluffs harbor and heading out to East Chop lighthouse this is a scenic jaunt. All proceeds got to Hospice of Martha’s Vineyard
  7. Bird Watching
    Catch the end of the spring migration when the variety of birds on the island peaks. Whether sea birds, raptors, song birds or woodpeckers are your particular favorites we have them in abundance on the island. So grab your binoculars and head off to see what feathered friends you can find. You need not stray off the inn’s property to discover red tailed hawks, osprey, Carolina wrens, woodpeckers, cardinals, blue jays, cat birds, flickers and chickadees.
