At the Nobnocket we are committed to pursuing environmentally positive practices and minimizing our impact on the natural resources, waterways and landscapes of Martha's Vineyard. The island is blessed with incredible natural beauty and is home to diverse habitats, including a myriad of inland ponds and waterways, grasslands, marshes, beaches and coastal heathlands. We work to support conservation actions to preserve these fragile ecological systems and counter the pressure from increasing development, tourism and climate change. We're proud to be actively involved in the health and sustainability of the natural resources of Martha's Vineyard.

Every Stay Gives Back

Nobnocket Boutique Inn partners with Kind Traveler's Every Stay Gives Back program to support the actions and activities of the Lagoon Pond Association (LPA) on Martha's Vineyard. The mission of the LPA is to preserve, protect and enhance Martha's Vineyard Lagoon Pond. The pond is categorized as impaired with seriously deteriorated water quality. LPA is leading the initiatives to reduce nitrogen loading in the lagoon and revitalize the health of this critical estuarine body.

Here's how it works: Guests give $3 for every night stayed as a Community Impact Fee and the Nobnocket donates 100% of this to the LPA. When you stay with us, by way of this small contribution, you can have a big impact on preserving the natural beauty of the area you are visiting.
